Who We Are

The Learning Bee School is a program for homeschoolers with 3 days or 4 days of in person classes. We have children who are registered as homeschoolers through the county, through PEP or enrolled in an umbrella school that allows freedom of curriculum choices. We are a Christian based, organization that seeks to empower our students to grow and develop into the men and women God has designed them to be.

Our teachers are ALSO parents of students, that are committed to teaching all subjects to students on their level of expertise. We are an extension of YOU, the parent. We aim to rebuild the family relationship, coming alongside side of you to reinforce your morals and values. You are still the most important factor in the education of your child and we don't want to take that away. We just want to offer a high level of support, guidance and empowerment for all homeschool families. ​

Classroom Style

Our relaxed environment was designed to help all of our students feel welcome and at home in their classroom and throughout the day. The classes are small so students get the benefit of one-on-one attention that homeschoolers enjoy. Our school day is 5 hours a day; 3 or 4 days a week, depending on the program and schedule you choose.

Classes are taught by instructors who have backgrounds in various teaching methods and deep backgrounds in home educating children; either their own or others. We believe the variety of styles and classroom management is enriching for our children. We do not do any formal testing, but we do assess your student on a regular basis. Any assignments are checked for accuracy- not for completion. We use informal assessments as conversation pieces with the parents to exchange suggestions and ideas to have home & class lessons come together seamlessly. Homework is assigned to do on “off-days” but guaranteed will not be hours upon hours. We understand that the family dynamic needs to be strengthened without hours of school work at home causing tension and stress.

Many homeschool families will appreciate that our class groups are labeled by levels and not grades. This aides in individualizing each students education. In our traditional program all instructors teach the same subjects simultaneously so that each child can be placed at the appropriate level per subject, not by age.
​ In our nature program, we divide in groups that rotate from classroom to outdoors each day.

Christian Foundation

The Learning Bee School is not associated with a specific denomination but is comprised of families who share a common principle, that Jesus Christ is our Savior and worthy to be honored in our lives.  We teach principles presented in the Bible and have morning devotions that will revolve around God's creation and Biblical character lessons.​
